Learn to relax to reduce unwanted feelings and boost performance

The benefits of relaxation is beyond peace and calmness. It begins the transformation of your quality in life.

Check if any of these apply to you: stress, anxiety, poor sleep, difficulty to focus, short memory, irritability, impatience, mood swinging, anger, over thinking or worrying, low energy/mood, etc.

A very fundamental element you know but often forget or overlook, is the importance of relaxation for any of the above unwanted feelings, and many more.

Relaxation helps eliminate unnecessary energy drain. Maintains stored resiliency. Reduces impatience, irritability, and anger. Improves physical and mental health. Enhances your intuition and concentration. Boosts memory, focus and other brain functions for better performance.

It also slows heart and breathing rate, lowers blood pressure, improves digestion, maintains normal blood sugar levels, reduces activity of stress hormones, increasing blood flow to major muscles, and reduces muscle tension and chronic pain (stiffness, migraine, etc.).

Just find a point straight in front of you and focus on it. Now gradually become aware of what’s around it, and let your vision spread to the corners of the room. As your eyes continue to look at that point and you become more and more aware of the surroundings of it.

Let your awareness also spread behind you, let your senses of hearing, touch, smell and spatial awareness spread out too. You begin to notice certain physiological changes. Slower breathing to your chest, relaxed face and jaw muscles, and your hands become warmer.

You also notice as you see, hear and breathe differently, your busy self-talk is quieter than usual, or has stopped altogether. And you feel MORE RELAXED!

All of these things help to bring you to a deeper level of calmness, peace and mental clarity. There is an opportunity for your body and mind to recharge and rejuvenate quickly by learning to relax.
